Four Arrested Following Home Invasion in East Falmouth

Four young men and one woman are facing criminal charges following an alleged home invasion Saturday morning.
Information provided by the Falmouth Police Department stated that at 6:15 AM Saturday, three of the suspects forced their way into a Sandcastle Drive, East Falmouth, home. The three suspects who entered the home were masked, the victims told police, and armed with a rifle and a stun gun.
The trio allegedly left the house with televisions, jewelry, a DVD player, a phone, liquor, and cash, and left the area in a car allegedly driven by the fourth suspect. The residents were not injured during the incident.
Later that night police executed a search warrant on an Old Barnstable Road, East Falmouth, home and recovered all of the stolen items except the cash. Police also allegedly recovered a stun gun and a .22 rifle, and arrested four of the suspects: a 16-year-old, and Michael Fernandes, Elijah Smith, and Kayla A. Pina, all 18 years old, from Old Barnstable Road, East Falmouth.
The juvenile, Mr. Fernandes, and Mr. Smith are each facing charges of home invasion while armed, kidnapping, assault with a dangerous weapon, armed robbery, and conspiracy. The juvenile and Mr. Fernandes are also each facing a charge of selling/possessing a stun gun, and Mr. Fernandes and Mr. Smith are also each facing a charge of possession of a firearm while committing a felony.
Ms. Pina is facing a charge of obstruction of justice. As of this morning, police have yet to locate the fifth suspect, identified as 17-year-old Nicholas Licciardi of East Falmouth.
Police did not divulge a motive for the alleged home invasion.
