Police finished processing the possible crime scene off Hayway Road in East Falmouth today.

By 5 PM, crime scene tape had been removed and police were no longer guarding the site.

All that remains in the area of woods near the Hayway Road water tower where Falmouth police, state police, and investigators from the State Medical Office spent all day Friday combing the area are a couple pf piles of brush, some freshly cut brambles and lots of poison ivy.

Police have not issued any updates on the investigation or on what was discovered in the woods since yesterday afternoon when Cape & Islands District Attorney Michael O'Keefe issued a press release stating that possible human remains had been discovered.
